Transition to Turkish Citizenship
According to the law “On Turkish citizenship”, 5 different categories of foreigners can apply for Turkish citizenship with a simplified procedure:
Individuals who have purchased real estate worth at least $1 million (USD). They will keep it within 3 years from the date of purchase.
People who have invested more than $2 million in Turkish industry (USD).
Persons holding deposits in Turkish banks amount to at least 3 million USD. And keep it in Turkey within 3 years from the date of investment.
Persons who purchase government bonds (bonds) with a value of at least $3 million for a period of not less than 3 years.
A person who opens a company and gives at least 100 new jobs to Turkish citizens.

Residence permit for foreigners
If you want to stay in Turkey for more than 90/180 days, you have to apply for a Turkish residence permit called Ikamet in Turkish. When you apply for a residence permit for the first time, the procedure can be quite challenging and therefore Arya provides assistance when requested.
If you are not married to a Turkish citizen, you can apply for a residence permit for a maximum of 2 years at that time. The following documents are required when you apply:
4 biometric passport photos
Copy of your passport and the last entry stamp in Turkey
If you own a property and rent a title deed/deed copy, you need a lease that is valid for the number of months you are applying for a residence permit. The contract must be in Turkish and notarized in Turkey.
Health insurance is also valid when you apply for a residence permit. If you have chosen to use a Turkish insurance, the insurance must be in Turkish, please note that the insurance police must state that it is valid in Turkey, and the insurance and insurance terms must be translated into Turkish and the notary stamped there. The price of health insurance in Turkey depends on your age and health. If you are over 65, you do not need health insurance.
Turkey tax number
A copy of the Turkish bank account is applied for your residence permit. If you are retired and receiving a pension, instead of showing a copy of your bank account, you can translate your retirement certificate into Turkish and notarized.
